OMG! So when I saw your application my brain immediately began coming up with a plot/history idea that I figured I could toss at you to see if you liked it or not. Anywho, Andrew is a townie, he's nineteen, and he lived in Friendship until he was sixteen years old and he only moved back a year ago. The reasons and all that fun stuff is in his history, but in short; his parents died, he had to live with his grandparents, and now he's back. Since Andrew and Sofia both lived in Friendship I figured maybe we could give them some history together?

They would have gone to high school together and I figured maybe when they were younger they had a kind of "friendship in passing" type thing where if they saw each other they would say hey but never really hung out. However, after Andrew got back he tried hooking up with all of his old friends so maybe he sought out Sofia and tried to see if they could still connect? I don't know if you would want them to be friends or not, but I think they have the possibility of being relatively close.

Okay, so I adore that idea. =) I think it's really cute. I think Sofia and Andrew would definitely have the ability to be friends. As they were younger, I could see them having a "friends in passing" kind of relationship. I know, going to a small school, I know nearly everyone in my school and would consider most of them friends that I'd hang out with if we both happen to be in the same area, but not necessarily best friends. (If that makes sense at all? xD) I think that their school could've been like that, maybe? I don't know. =) But, Sofia is -and always has been- very outgoing. So, I think she'd make it a point to talk to Andrew when given the opportunity as a kid. So, a "friends in passing" type of thing would work well for their history.

I think that Sofia would be happy to see that Andrew had returned to Friendship after a couple years. If she got wind of why he disappeared, she might pity him slightly... but she probably wouldn't show that since she'd doubt that he'd want any type of sympathy. I could see Sofia just being happy that he made an effort to tell her that he was back. She'd appreciate that. I could see Sofia and Andrew ending up pretty close. Definitely a good chance at friends. After reading Andrew's personality, I think they'd balance each other out nicely. =) Haha, I don't know. Any thoughts? I love your ideas, though.

I think that anyone who knew him in high school would probably know why he left Friendship and he wouldn't mind anyone knowing either. Andrew doesn't really want sympathy from people but obviously that isn't going to stop people from feeling it, so Andrew will be okay with it as long as Sofia doesn't try acting on it. But I was thinking they could bump into each other at the park or maybe have a planned outing? Either works for me.

i don't think sofia would try to act on the sympathy, since she hates to have people feel sympathetic for herself. i think she would've made it known that she's there if he needs her and then moved on, or something. i like your idea for them bumping into each other at the park. maybe sofia didn't really realize he was back yet, and they both somehow end up at the park? xD

or, if we wanted to go with the planned outting, sofia could've just found out that andrew was back. maybe he stopped in to see her at her parent's work or something the other day and they planned to meet up to catch up later on? i don't know, either works for me. =)
